English Teacher (B-Ed) – China
Salary: 12 000 – 16 000 RMB per month
I am looking for an English teacher for a position in China. A Bachelor’s degree in Education (BEd) is required. You must be a recent graduate or have at least 2 years experience. The role involves teaching pre-school children aged 3 to 6; you must truly love working with children. . The schedule consists of 5 months on duty followed by 1 month off—specifically February (winter – unpaid) and August (summer – unpaid). You can use this time to travel locally or internationally and see the world—the choice is yours. It is a 40-hour work week (8 hours per day), split into 4 hours of teaching and 4 hours of preparation work. Free accommodation is provided. It is a very safe country; many people leave their doors open without anything going missing. Assistance is provided to open a local bank account. The cost of living and food is incredibly low—about six times cheaper than in South Africa. Free medical cover is included. It is an annual contract that is renewable each year, and an annual flight ticket home is provided.
