Did You Know? 30 Years Ago Today on the 11 September 1996
Thirty years ago today, South Africa was continuing its important journey of reconciliation and nation-building. The Truth and Reconciliation Commission was holding hearings where victims and those involved in past violence were sharing their experiences, seeking truth, accountability and, in many cases, forgiveness.
Today It is a reminder that healing, understanding and building a stronger community takes time — but every step forward matters.
