I’m a mom of a cat and 6 rescue donkeys.
I’m also a Photographer and Small Business Owner of Lizelle Photography.
Photography used to be a hobby and when life happened in 2019, I had to make the decision of a career change. Well, why not follow my passion and become a full time photographer.
I enrolled for various courses and in October 2020 obtained my Professional Diploma in Photography. A photography friend also recommended using this time to follow all the free online courses, webinars, YouTube videos available. I actually still do this.
During this time of transition in my life, Covid and lockdown became a reality. Not the best time to start a new career and/or business. However, I was very blessed to be living on a small holding. I could practice each and every day, having nature as well as my animals to photograph. Only my cat was not impressed with me.
I’m a natural light photographer and prefer working with families and especially children. I love capturing the real energy and emotions amongst a family. I want my clients to forget about me, become comfortable and just have fun. Those are the memories I want to give to my clients.
I’m very blessed in having many international photographers as FB friends. These interactions are all positive, uplifting, motivating and it feel as if we are all long-time friends. The most exciting part is that I’m doing all my “international travelling” on FB.
Life is short and one day you might be left with only memories. I have personal experience of being left with only memories and no recent photographs.
I want to create those memories for my clients!!
