Witch & Crow Candle Co. was born from a creative spirit, a flickering passion for craftsmanship, and the desire to add a touch of magic to everyday life. Founded by the Tipsy Gypsy, Des, who is a true artisan at heart, her journey began as a creative escape during load shedding. In the heart of South Africa, where power cuts are a common occurrence, Des found solace in the flicker of candle flames and the art of candle making. Living in the countryside with her son, 2 rescue crows, Mischief & Jack, 2 Dogs, a cat and 2 bunnies, she is a passionate animal lover, and the name Witch & Crow honours her connection with these amazing birds.

What started as a hobby to keep busy has blossomed into a small, homegrown business that we proudly call Witch & Crow Candle Co. Every candle that leaves our workshop is a labor of love, meticulously handmade to illuminate your world with warmth and enchantment.
