BORN INTO A BROKEN WORLD, CALLED INTO NEW LIFE
Good morning, community.
Sometimes I look at the world and feel as though we are living inside the struggles described in Revelation. There is conflict, confusion, selfishness, suffering and fear.
But being born into a broken world does not mean we must allow that brokenness to become who we are.
We can be surrounded by anger without becoming angry people. We can witness cruelty without becoming cruel. We can experience rejection without rejecting everyone who comes into our lives.
Yeshua came to offer us new life: not simply a change in circumstances, but a transformation of the heart.
We do not always choose the world into which we are born, but we are responsible for how we respond to the life placed before us. With God’s grace, a different way of living becomes possible.
Scripture: John 3:3–8; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 12:2
Today’s reflection , Am I allowing the pain of this world to determine the person I am becoming?
Father, renew my heart. Do not allow the darkness around me to destroy the light You are growing within me. Amen.
